I said I’d share how I’m growing my X account to 10K so here’s the breakdown after my first 12 days of data.
I posted 27 times got the ff:

Here’s the part most people overlook on X👇
Your growth isn’t determined by a single viral hit it’s your baseline.
Once I understood that my baseline averages ~3k/day organically even w/o the viral post.
My job now is to raise that baseline not chase virality.
Lifestyle + product aesthetics are a cheat code
The posts that framed Ryder as a design object + lifestyle item consistently performed best.
Not “features.”
Not “tech.”
Just a clean shot + a one-liner.
Think Apple, not HW brands.

Evening posts get the most dwell time and the fastest early engagement.
Morning threads work too but only when the hook is strong.
Threads aren’t for reach they’re for depth
The first tweet does the discovery.
Tweets 2, 3, 4 do the dwell time.
I always knew this hence you can see a lot of viral post from me in the past, but my account was limited on token posting, I wanted to branch out of it👇
My profile setup is doing a lot of the heavy lifting
Some days I had a 1.0+ profile conversion rate meaning I gained a follower for every profile visit.
That’s wild.
Bio + header + pinned tweet matter more than people think.
The algorithm put me in 3 clusters
After 12 days, @X “sees” my account as:
→Crypto founder
→Self-custody / UX
→Lifestyle/fitness discipline
These are the only 3 lanes I'm currently at
I’ll be experimenting with new verticals over the next few weeks.
Crypto is home but there’s a bigger audience on X that I can reach by expanding into different clusters. Founder journey, design, hardware, fitness, ecommerce, product building… there’s overlap everywhere.
I’m also switching from weekly → bi-weekly insights since the learnings will be much stronger to share
