i wonder why some websites flex their VC logos like that’s the product.
“funded by a16z, sequoia, blah blah.” cool, but what the f**k do you actually do? why can't you simply tell me what you do in most simple terms?!
then you have teams like @HyperliquidX, @ether_fi , @maplefinance who let the product speak. they might have great backers too but they don’t make it the headline. they downplay investors and lead with product. investors are just a tiny strip at the bottom.
if your biggest differentiator is having fancy VC names, you don’t have a product. you have a pitch deck. you need to work on your product first.
just some observation but to me, this is a huge difference.
